Using a script or add-on that scans GameFAQs for box and screen images (such as an emulator front-end), while overloading our search engine. There is no official GameFAQs app, and we do not support nor have any contact with the makers of these unofficial apps. Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does.Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests. Curious.Wonder if I can play this game with my Ukulele. I'm a pretty basic guitar player and would love to learn to play better. Amazon currently has the first game WITH the 1/4 to USB jack for $30, the cable itself is already $30 and most retailers are still selling Rocksmith for $60.I really need to pick this up. Went and got a sound system and it went away. i used TV sound and first and had horrible sound lag. But if you play PC and use HDMI for sound, i suggest setting up a different means of sound. Both work just fine for the game and haven't had problems with sound transfer. Updated -Ĭurrently using a Hellraiser Deluxe with EMG 81/85's in it, and a Thunderhorse Explorer with passive Gibson USA BurstBucker 1 neck pickup and Gibson USA BurstBucker 2 bridge pickup. It's a pretty cool feature, just pick a key and play away. I set it up the other day for the first time and just plugged in a drop C guitar and hammered away some metal tunes and the game picks up and plays right a long. Oh, AND the new session mode is pretty awesome. It also has Riff Repeater, which will allow you to select a section, play it continually, slow it down, and learn it step by step which has really helped learning some solos. For seasoned players, like I said, they have to scale games, master mode, challenges and stuff of the sort. Scales, how to hold the pick, the guitar basics, how to pretty much do anything to get started. For beginners it gives you the necessities. I would say it's a very good supplemental tool, for starters, and seasoned players. Updated -Īnd the new one has dynamic master mode, so as you learn the song more and more, it'll make the notes go away so you start learning to play by memory. Not to mention you get to play music while unintentionally learning a bit more. Plus the new one supports and huge amount of tunings, Rocksmith 1 had E standard, Eb Standard, Open G (I think) and Drop D. I play the mini games before hand that are just playing scales and it helps get everything going. I'm not sure if it teaches you how to read music, but it has helped me with scales and technique. I had played guitar for around 7 years before Rocksmith and I still enjoy the game a ton. I'm self taught as well, but can read music from schooling/self teaching as well.
